Together, we can protect our planet and their inhabitants from the threats of pollution and climate change as we transition to non-carbon based fuels. Join our community of renewable energy advocates and take action for a healthier planet.
Geothermal energy is the other renewable baseload energy besides hydroelectric power. Geothermal energy is clean energy that is on 24/7 unlike intermittant renewable energy such as solar and wind energy. Geothermal energy is naturally produced from the Earth. Temperatures in the Earth increase 30 degrees C/km with increasing depth. Many places such as "The Great Basin" in the Western US may have temperatures as high as 150 degrees C/km. Other areas such as the Rio Grande Rift Basin and the Gulf Coast also have high geothermal gradients. Geothermal energy can be used at home or on a commercial scale to power thousands of homes.
Natural hydrogen occurs with the Earth as an interaction between ultra mafic volcanic rocks such as olivine and pyroxene, kimberlites and serpentinite. These rocks are derived from deep within the Earth's mantle. When you burn natural hydrogen the product is water. Exploration and production of natural hydrogen is a new developing resource, Green hydrogen is derived from splitting water using electrolyis. Blue hydrogen is derived from splitting hydrogen from natural gas. Both blue and green hydrogen are currently not economic and are not as clean.
We're always happy to hear from fellow Earth lovers. Contact us with your questions, feedback, or partnership opportunities. Together, we can make a difference.
